From 1987 - 1991, Jim Engh found himself living and working
in Europe and Asia as the lead designer for three top
golf course design firms....simultaneously
Since, and during that time, Jim Engh Design has completed
courses in France, Germany, Austria, Italy,
China, Thailand, Ireland, and South Korea.
Presently, Jim Engh Design is

China, South Korea, Vietnam, Spain, Austria, Mexico,
and of Course the United States.

Jim Engh first worked in China in 1993 while creating the
“Open” course at Dongguan Hillview Golf Club. He then completed the
”Master” course in 1999.
Jim Engh and Mitch Scarborough appreciate and enjoy the Asian cultures
and are both experienced world travelers. They believe that the future of golf
is in Asia and understand that living and working there is based
upon friendship, honor, and a respectful working relationship.
As a partner, and friend since 1992, Matha Kasinurak brings
a wealth of golf industry knowledge and a local
stability to client relations for the Jim Engh Design Team.
